Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., founded in 1908 at Howard University, is the first historically Black sorority. It is dedicated to scholarship, sisterhood, and service, with programs that support education, health, economic empowerment, and social justice. Today, AKA has over 300,000 members and more than 1,000 chapters worldwide, continuing its legacy of leadership and community impact.
